Our Values
I established Nora's homemade curry paste when our customers began asking if I could create rendang curry paste for them to take home. Consequently, we transitioned from selling our curry paste in takeaway containers to offering it in properly labelled jars.
Throughout the pandemic, I dedicated myself to producing curry paste in jars, and we officially introduced our two products (Rendang curry paste & Nyonya lime curry paste) in August 2022. I feel fortunate to have received full support from my husband, Rich, who is now my business partner. We have two daughters, and we both hope that they will join us in the business one day.
We firmly believe in promoting the preparation of home-cooked and from-scratch meals as the best way to encourage everyone to enjoy healthy food. Nora's cooking is authentic, home-cooked, genuine, and prepared with lots of love.
NORA'S STORY
Hello everyone. I'm Nora, originally hailing from Sabah, the Land Below the Wind, located in Borneo, Malaysia. I was born and raised in Kampung Lokos, nestled in the foothills of Mount Kinabalu, the highest mountain in South Asia. As a member of the Dusun Tribe, one of Sabah's native tribes, I had no culinary knowledge before marriage, despite my love for eating....

Nora is extremely passionate about food. She despises wasting food. She frequently devises her own recipes, which she dubs "Campak-Campak."
She adores spicy cuisine and cannot do without her sambal. She often dances in the kitchen while cooking.

She enjoys outdoor activities like wild camping, hiking, diving, and exploring.
RICH
FRONT OF HOUSE | LOGISTICS
Rich used to work for his mum and dad's pub, restaurant, and B & B. He worked with kids and in care before later joining his parents' businesses.
He's a cool dad, although he can be reserved at times, he makes us laugh with his cool jokes. He always ensures that kids are fed and watered before doing anything else.
Rich is passionate about outdoor activities and is crazy about bushcraft.
MICHELLE
SEASONAL STAFF
Michelle, our seasonal helper, brings a touch of warmth and enthusiasm to our team. Hailing originally from Taiwan, she embarked on a journey that led her to the picturesque town of Tenby approximately two decades ago.
Beyond her role as a seasonal helper, Michelle is a devoted mother to two beautiful girls. What sets her apart is not just her work ethic, but her radiant personality – she consistently adorns herself with a big smile, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
Beyond the workplace, Michelle's passion for dance adds a vibrant dimension to her life, reflecting her joyful spirit. Her multicultural background and lively interests make her a delightful addition to our seasonal team.
